Mohamed Karim Benkhorchef (Karim Kajo), his nickname, was born on February 22, 1999 in Algeria. Since growing up, I have seen myself as different. I have ideas, I have ambitions that I want to achieve, but the question was how? At the age of sixteen, I began my journey into the world of cinema, initially making videos using a mobile phone alongside my brother. This endeavor gave me a revelatory experience, as I discovered an innate affinity for the cinematic medium. It became clear that the camera lens was my third eye for my creative vision, a vessel for my unique perspective. Through skillful direction and storytelling, I was able to channel my thoughts into reality and tell them in the form of stories for everyone in the world to see.

for me Cinematography, the art of visual storytelling, elevates mere images to unforgettable experiences. It's about more than just capturing moments; it's about painting with light, framing with precision, and evoking emotions with every shot. the frame in cinema – it's like a window into a world of endless possibilities, a portal through which stories come to life. For me, working with frames is akin to being an artist with a blank canvas, except my medium isn't paint; it's light, movement, and emotion. When I approach a scene, I don't just see it as a collection of actors and props; I see it as a tapestry waiting to be woven. Each frame is a carefully crafted composition, where every element has its place and purpose. It's about finding the perfect balance between aesthetics and storytelling, between form and function.
